In 2015, EJ Johnson the Fordham Productions started to document individuals, events, and communities in Oak Cliff through photography. The project included interviews on Jefferson Blvd, to documenting events with friends and family members. The project then became more formalized as an on-going photo series entitled, The Oak Cliff Documentary in 2016. The photos, video clips, and interviews have been primarily published through social media outlets such as Facebook and Instagram in order to document the Black and Latino experiences of the Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas.
